This one is something of an inside joke. Vladimir (the Marquis de Bridstane aka Lord Dorkboy) likes fiddling with mechanical/electrical things. He doesn't know what he's doing.

Result:

Madame Kat,

I do find, upon taking in this piece, a feeling of green-eyed jealousy creeping up within me, for it is my most earnest desire to, perchance, some day draw, with as much in adroit skill as you posess, curly hair with success.

Alas, I do find that such a lofty goal continues to vex me, and thus, I am further hardened toward my task of practice and study in the forms of artwork, pencil, and penmanship.

But I am afraid my sudden fancy for Victorian vernacular has run long, and perhaps has run poorly, for I am perched, ever watchful, as a clerk upon the circulation desk of the local library, and as such, have found myself given to various distractions over the course of this missive. I shall end it, thusly, and bid you good day.

Sincerely,
Lord Kevin

Lord Kevin,

I find myself not only flattered but amused that you find so much to envy in a piece completed one and one-half years ago.

I urge you to continue plying your pencil and practising your art, as I find great enjoyment in perusing your work. Indeed, your eye for daguerreotype cannot be argued.

I wish you most sincere luck as you continue your duties at the circulation desk.

Sincerely,
Mlle. Kat

Mlle. Kat,

I must confess to a degree of embarassment-- I had not taken the care to note the time of completion. Yet I do, still, maintain that same envy, for though it may have been completed so long ago, and your craft has, undoubtedly, improved, one cannot deny quality when one is presented with such.

You do me a kindness in referring to my childish workings as "art." To know that one whom I hold in such esteem as yourself does think positively upon my workings does fill me with a feeling of happiness.

I do find myself curious, upon further partaking of your gallery, as to whether you are familiar with the concept of steampunk? If so, perhaps we could speak further, for I have some ideas which might interest you, if such is the case.

Until such time as we might correspond once again, do take care.

Sincerely,
Lord Kevin

Lord Kevin,

Indeed, I find delight in steampunk, and I would gladly listen to any ideas involving such that you may posit.

Sincerely,
Mlle. Kat

Mlle. Kat,

Stupendous! I shall be in contact with you at some point, whenever such time as I have more of my affairs in order and I am possessed of a better idea of what it is which I should like to pursue in the steampunk setting.

It is an idea still very much in its infancy, you understand.

Sincerely,
Lord Kevin

I really like how his hair turned out. And the shirt looks so cool, especially with the shading.

I luv how you have migrated from traditional art to digital art, and it still retains a certain "handmade" feeling to it. Hope you might post a tutorial or something like that...

BTW..amazing gallery! I've always loved things period
