i'm sorry expect dangan ronpa spam within the next few weeks, i just basically binge played through both trigger happy havoc and goodbye despair in a little over a week and i rly love them wwwwowwieif you have a vita i hiiighly recommend this series because after borrowing my friend's vita to play these, i've convinced myself to buy my own just so i can replay them

Oh and Ms.Wim, I have a question to ask you. How do you do perspective? I mean, i have been trying to do this so-called "coil technique" on one of my sketches on my sketch book for practice, but it just doesn't seem right like all the tutorials i watched on youtube. Maybe I'm missing something??? idk. But any chance you can give me a few pointers on how to perspective? :"^D If you don't know, then thats fine.

ALSO perspective is pretty difficult, if you're talking about environments there's gonna be a lot of vanishing points and horizon lines and lines all over the place, it becomes more like math lmao, it's hard to explain in words
BUT if it's just a person, then the best way i can recommend is by looking at reference!! my first year or so of art school all we did was draw from a live model over and over again, and that may not seem too exciting, but you'd be amazed how much you learn just by drawing people from life!
Of course you probably don't have the funds to hire a live model, there's this place on deviantart called senshistock: senshistock.deviantart.com/gal…
they have tons of free poses you can use for drawing practice, and once you understand anatomy a little better, it becomes easier to draw complex poses out of your head. I'd recommend drawing some quick poses, loosen up, and really paying attention to lighting and anatomy. uwu you'd be surprised how much it helps
and ofc you can also just use the pose itself and replace the model with your character and bend the proportions and such to your will. this account exists solely for them to give artists free pose references to use, so don't be afraid to use whatever pictures you like as reference.

no problem!! good luck~! and remember, all stylisation is based off realism, like even if you want to draw in a simplified style, it is much easier to simplify when you know anatomy really well uwu it can never hurt an artist to study anatomy!
