For Havillands Stables: Havillands Frostfire and George Henby
One Day event Cross Country.
Here's George and Frosty on the higher point of the course over the downs, George appears to be using tactics more usually seen employed by Gareth, i.e. yelling a lot of encouragement.
Frosty is looking a bit the worse for wear, he has been made to walk diagonally, jump over things and now he has to listen to George - of all people- who is making him turn, jump, go through trees, splash through water and go up and down hills. It is all a bit much for a simple minded race horse who is used to charging wildly in one direction - usually the wrong one- Stamina isn't the issue, it is mental energy that is the problem here.
The jump steward seems to be somewhat alarmed by George's bawling! George is pretty intimidating even when he is smiling so encountering a big, red faced, shouty version isn't a Good Thing
Khi has generously made George an armband too. He did actually say thank you, since he is still feeling the aftershocks of a particularly bad bout of 'Khi Anger' the other week when he was rude to her. John had to drag her away and comb her hair to calm her down.
