Description Here's my first commissioned portrait of this year. I hope you like it
I'm enjoying a lot Canson Mi-Teintes paper. It's not amazing for super-detailed drawings but it really allows you to reach a natural look for a nice blended portrait. And tinted paper is really nice to work with, since you half mid-tones ready and you have to work just on shadows and highlights.

Yeah this paper is definitely nice I'm liking it a lot for a fast style that gives a natural result at the end. Very soft, just like the wool needs to be!

Thanks! Yeah it's nice to work with tinted paper, and that subtly rough texture really adds a bit of interesting "texture" on the skin too

This is great! It's always cool working with tinted paper. Ive done some portraits on it as well, but the amount of detail you got here is amazing!I especially love how you were able to get the texture of the hat! I bow to you're superior skills!
