What do you mean by "get more into it?"
What do you mean by "only going halfway?"
Do you find my watercolors, :thumb175082715: and :thumb175077692:, more exhilarating than my acrylic pieces?
I'm flattered, but I'm very much confused by your enthusiasm. The fact that you're commenting on a three-year-old piece and the only thing I've worked on in the past two years is :thumb304247449: rather shows a lack of passion on my part.

Oh by get more into it I meant that I have done several watercolors and I always love how they manage to turn out in the end yet I always go back to charcoal or my inkwork.. thats all I meant.
As far as the "only going halfway" I mean that there is a large portion of Deviantart that I feel like they could've elaborated on their concepts but seem to have just "floating" art without a "story" that it tells, does that make sense?
And I didn't mean to confuse you with my enthusiasm.. I am a huge fan of all of your work! in fact, Your acrylic work is stunning in its own unique style.. using very decisive strokes to express a much stronger(i'm referencing your 'Tana wip 1' in this statement), flowing art form that I only wish i was able to accomplish... However to elaborate on why I commented on your watercolors in particular is a different reason entirely. I have partiality towards this art form as I have done it before and I understand the struggles and beauty in working this medium, and your intricate designs and details matched with your vibrant mixing of colors make it especially striking to me in particular... This is especially displayed by the red in the flowers of "resting"... So as to answer whether your acrylics or watercolors is more exhilarating? I would like to say that I feel the acrylics are, because the subjects and unique color schemes and blending are in such a fashion as to inspire universally intricate composition (especially shown in "science Dude")
I hope that this helps you understand my zeal of your work

I think you're attributing more profundity to my artwork than it actually has. For all of my paintings, I simply mixed colors that I find pleasing and applied them how I wanted, usually by finger-painting. I am really enjoying how "Tana" is coming along, though. It's the first piece that I've been able to work on without constraints, evident by the fact that I have already used five media in it. But to me, the only story my artwork tells is of my struggles, minor accomplishments, and lack of commitment. Every piece was a learning device, as I have yet to learn how to draw or paint in a natural, continuous fashion.

It took me probably 80 hours. I can do it now in 10, so it was quite embarassing. XD
