Description
Grymm is a High Reaper, a powerful creature that works for the God of Death. Unlike most Reapers, Grymm was never a living mortal. He is an otherworldly being who was created directly by the God of Death and tasked with the duty of training and protecting young Reapers. Grymm focuses on nothing else but his responsibilities, and displays little to no emotion. Although the safety and well-being of his Reapers certainly matters to him, he is uninterested in "pointless social interaction" and idle conversations.

Grymm is intelligent as well as strong as has an uncanny precognition when it comes to foreseeing behavior in others. When one of the young Reapers is troubled by something, Grymm often realizes it before they do themselves. Though always seeming distant (if not just a little cold) Grymm does what he can to offer his pupils advice and does everything in his power to look after them.

In circumstances where Slayer Reapers may be pitted against a unusually dangerous undead opponent, Grymm will join them in battle. He is a force to be reckoned with, and many of the young Reapers look up to him, hoping to one day be as formidable a fighter as he.

Powerful undead that Grymm has personally destroyed are displayed as "Screaming Skulls" in the form of tattoos across his body and horns. Grymm can readily account the name and stories of each of these defeated enemies, and uses them as examples and warnings to his young Reapers during their training sessions.

Even when away from the mortal realm, Grymm never takes off his mask. Some of his students have theorized that High Reapers like Grymm are created with their masks in place, and that they can't be removed. However, no one has yet had the courage to ask Grymm directly, as doing so might seem rude.

Grymm never eats or sleeps. When he is blessed with a few moments of "leisure time" he uses the opportunity to hone his battles skills by practicing maneuvers with his large, dark scythe.

The original character of Grymm and his pupils do not exist within the RPG world as our other characters. The Reapers are something new I have created for this gallery as a creative art challenge. You may consider them to be in an "alternate reality" than the world that skullard and I normally build upon. Thank you for all your positive feedback about them!
