Description Home...I'm going home...

I could sit here and do Mithos Yggdrassil's entire pre-and-post battle monologues, but I'll spare you, since if you've even seen a Gamecube before, you've probably beaten Tales of Symphonia(or at least played it).

Anyway, as improbable as it would be for a pack of adventurers to sit down and prepare an elaborate, delicious meal everytime they smote a pack of random wildlife, for maximum effect, the cooking system of Tales has to be observed during the interim in forms of a pivotal battle(like seen here...oh... and *SPOILERS* while we're at it)

...I always make Sheena cook curry. If it were sammitches then it'd make sense.

*finish first battle*

*chomp sammitch*

*fight next form*

Buuut you can't do that with Curry. XD

And, oddly enough, you can do it after the last battle too o_O

And that is one of many reasons why Symphonia was so easy.

Always thought of that with battles.
"Hang on Gnome. Before we finish the pact, we're making curry!"

I like the cooking ability after battles. Though if Mithos desides to attack you when you are cooking you can always hit him with the frying pan, or the spatula. ;3

This is so awesome XD. Yeah, that cooking always had me thinking.

Incidentally, Mithos's second form sucks so much that it is totally believable that you could cook, sleep, take an extended vacation, etc., and still rest assured that you can defeat Mithos.

Lloyd: I've seen a gamecube before!! there's a gigantic one in the renegades base! Does that mean I've played Tales of Symphonia?
Genis: I...I think we just used it to open a door...
Kratos: it's a bit large ... I don't think it would actually function as a--
Yuan: IT DOES! Hey Lloyd guess what?! Kratos is your father!!!
Lloyd: NO!! IT'S NOT TRUE! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!

XD argh... I totally know what you mean here. every time my friends watch me play in the battle arena they make jokes about the between-battle cooking. Just 2 weeks ago in fact xD the part with Collette and Lloyd trying to figure out the sandwich made me giggle the most

Firstly... LOL!! XD

Secondly, you're my hero if you can do those monologues. My siblings and I love to memorize and repeat lines and battle quotes, but who doesn't with the 'Tales of' series? x3

Lastly, I'm so glad those two finally figured out the mechanics of a sandwich before the end of the game... >.>;

Hehe, thanks again for the laugh. I needed it. ^^

Unfortunately, I haven't played that game before. And I have a Gamecube. (Wii now) Should I be ashamed?

So ashamed you should go into exile...

That game is a must.

Yes! Press the Z button and be ashamed! (Paper Mario)

Hm, but you know, it's never too late to pick it up. I'd say if you like rpgs, it's at least worth a try. It's on PS2 as well I think.
