likes: Moonlit walks, alternative music, berry flavored water, gothic/punk clothing, soft and subtle smells.
Dislikes: too much sunlight, cloudy nights, formal clothes, really strong and stinky scents
Personality: Bryony is a cheerful little oddish, she is the happiest under a bright full moon. Since she is a nocturnal type pokemon, she is rather dull and grouchy during the day (Never anger her in the morning! you have been warned) once the moon peaks over the horizon she is full of energy, often out walking or maybe even at a dance place meeting other pokemon. She also tries to hide it, but she is very Vain and it is also for that reason she hasn't evolved into a Gloom yet. Point is she is normally very nice and would love to socialize except while either the sun is up or she is busy with her Botany studies; bothering her during either of those would most likely get you put to sleep or some acid spat at you.
History: Born into a family of Perfume makers and sellers, Bryony was used to a more than comfortable life style. She was homeschooled as a child cause she would sleep during the day which gave her plenty of time to start and care for the garden she has today. The older she got the less she needed to sleep, so she was then able to roam around her parent's company lot (which was also where their home was) learning the joys of working with the wonderful scents the company created. When she turned 21 her parents decided that she needed to get out into the world and live alittle so they sent her to the Island of Poyi to study plants and as a side errand, collect any flowers worth making perfumes from. She had a few complaints because it was an island and a tropical climate but sucked it up and packed her bags, loving the idea of meeting new and strange pokemon.

Even though she has lived at Poyi for alittle over a month Bryony hasnt really taken the time to explore the island. So with that thought, she went out into the night life of the hotel. It was fairly lively since alot of the guests were nocturnal pokemon. One of the first things that caught her eye was a bright pink hat and the pokemon it belonged to. She walked up to him casually.
"Hi there ^^ first off, love the hat and really liking the piercings and second," she stuck out her hand, "Name's Bryony."
She smiled at him.

He tilted his head slightly, he wasn;t really used to most of the residents coming up to him so straight forward, but it was about time someone did. A grin covered over his face and he struck out his hand onto hers " Thanks! I...I like your.." he looked over her and his eyes met onto her socks, they were pretty awesome looking " Your socks!" He nodded, a smile still plastered on. Letting go the grasp her her hand her pocketed his own. " Names Joshua...are you new around here as well..?" He was hoping to meet some newer residents so he didn't feel so left out but then again..he was probably the only new guy within miles.

"Some what, I've been here for a month but I have been busy with my side studies." Bryony plops into a seat close to Joshua. "So what do you like to do? Any thing that you absolutely dont like?" Her parents always told her that she was more like a meowth instead of and Oddish with the way she was always curious and asking lots of questions. Her red eyes fixed on Joshua with a smile.

He rose a brow and pressed his hands into his lap "..What do I like to do?...Well I guess you could say I'm totally mooching off my parents at the moment..still yet...but I was a drummer in a band until we broke up.." He snickered a bit "..Well..drummer..whatever..I never made it to much of our practices since I sleep in so much..and uhh what about you..Bryony?..I'm gonna call you Bee for short."

"Sure :3 I loved gardening; I actually have a huge greenhouse that I tend to at home. I'm still living off my parents as well, in fact mine kinda made me come here to do some friend making and plant studying." She leaned in more, interested to hear more from him. "So what kind of music did you play? do you still play, If so I would love to hear 'ya one day."

He leaned back in his chair and threw his arms behind his head, listening intently to the girl. " GArdening..ha! My mom does that kinda stuff..Eh?..Well we did sorta rock..and well...I just played the drums..so just imagine a guy beating some drums and you got me" he laughed a bit..though he hadn't brought his drums to the island, he had left those behind at home, not wanting to disturb the hotel guests with them.

"Heh, I bet your mom doesnt grow some of the most deadliest plants in the world." She gave him an devilish grin. "Also Sorta playing rock is cool, the drummer is actually a fairly important part of any band cause they help keep the tune and rhythm of the music." Then she started talking about some of the benefits music like that. "Also, I often play music for my plants. Mine like music that have heavy bass or drum." The evil grin faded back to a sweet smile.

He snorted a bit from her deadly comment..now that was interesting. "..Naaah...she plants all the pretty stuff...like around the house..I couldn't see deadly poisonous plants lurking in her garden..she loses all her shit over weeds in the first place I don't need her complaining over deadly ones!" He blinked a few times and let loose of a lawn, covering his mouth with a wave as it slowly disappeared "..Oh?..Didn't know they liked music.." He pulled himself out of his chair, standing up and stretching his limbs, attempting to wake himself up.

"Why thank you good sir~" Bryony giggled. "So lets see, we could walk along the beach or maybe even the walking trail through the gardens." Her eyes were bright with the idea of possibly finding something new along the walk. "Which way do you wanna go?"

"...Why not all the places?" He smiled down to her, he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked alongside her, swiftly not losing her anytime soon. "..I mean you're a garden plant whatever person..I'm a water kinda guy so I'd like the beach...I don't care" He started to lead her towards a trail that lead to a view of wild life plants in the area and features.

Bryony was trying to resist the urge to hold his hand or even the want to hook her arm through his as they walked... curse all of the romantic things she grew up with. Having won the battle for now, she settled for just swinging her arms at her sides. Every now and then she would stop to get a better look at the beautiful plant life that is if she wasnt too busy asking Joshua questions.
"So, i'm sure this is none of my business, but how come you havent evolved yet?" She gave him a look of pure curiosity.

"...I get that question so much.." He tilted his head to the side..being a Hydreigon would be amazing..but he enjoyed it now as a Deino. "...Well..I supposed..since I'm just too lazy to even do that" he shrugged "...Can't I say the same to you? " he smirked " A Bellossom or a Gloom right?...or Vileplume..I forget.." He tilted his head back and watched a bird fly across the sky

She blushed alittle bit. "I'm actually kinda scared to become a Gloom." Now she fiddled with the edge of her skirt. "Both of my parents were teased during childhood when they were Glooms and I dont wanna go through the same thing... plus I can decide whether I wanna be a Vileplume like my dad or a Bellossom like my mom." She looked back up at him to see the kind of reaction he would have.

He crinkled his nose and rose a brow in the response "..So Gloom is like the awkward teen stages huh?..Hah...Zweilous too..." He shook his head and beamed down back at her "..Well hey! You're pretty now so why the hell not? If you wanna stay an oddish, fuck it! Who cares do what you want" he smiled reassuringly down to her. " It's not bad being the first evolution of your species..it only makes you more unique right?"

She had always thought that she had to evolve since even her younger sister's evolved to rosalia's from little bedew's when they were 10. "You're right~" Then it fully hit her as to what Joshua had said before the fuck it part. "Wait a minute... do you really think that I'm pretty???"

Being in a band with those two womanizers really took a toll on him..but he himself wasn't as heartless was what they could be, his worlds held a certain sincerity. He bit at his lip ring in a bit of a nervous habit "...Ah..Well!" he took his gaze off her and to the flowers.."...wow damn! What pretty flowers!...Yeah!" He tried to head off the subject since it had embarrassed him.

Her mind was filled with so many questions and simple impulses that she knew she couldn't do at this time cause it would embarrass them both even further. "Yeah, pretty flowers." After a brief moment of awkward silence Bryony said softly, "I hope i'm not being to forward by saying this but I find you attractive too~" Her face still red as she looked over the flowers.

She didnt know what else to do now, sure she was a flirt and a hopeless romantic but she had never actually had a boyfriend or really any kind of relationship with anyone beyond acquaintances...

"It should work cause I know if i'm not careful about, I can put myself to sleep." She laughed then started removing her boots and stockings so she could bury her toes in the warm sand. "Not as good as soil but it still feels nice." Taking a deep breathe, she closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling.

What little of the moon was in the sky reflected against the gentile waves, everything was nice and peaceful. "Yeah..." Then she suddenly perked up. "I think i'm gonna go walk in the water for a moment, maybe I can even find something neat that's washed up?" Even though she was 21, she still acted like a kid at times.

He looked at the water wafting on the shore " Yeah! You go do that..bring me back something" he laughed. He really didn't want to get in the water at the moment, but he didn't mind standing by close. He walked more towards the shore line where the water was and waited alongside her.
