Description Normally I do not use flash when taking photos of animals but this time it was not possible other way or it would be totally blurry.
Penguin was taken in a rather dark tunnel at Zoo Rotterdam in may 2009. Do not take without permission, this is not stock.

sorry i have to correct you but this is actually a king penguin. you can see it on his amazing orange beak and "ears"

weird shot...he looks a little like a zombie^^ but cute

oh you are right. I am so sorry. NOw I feel stupid because I think I have never seen an emperor penguin before (in a zoo). Even in Planet Penguin, Loro Parque, they displayed King penguins.
