Description
Seth and Malachi. (Yeah, I know, I've posted another OC called Malachi, whose name I'm gonna have to change, because this guy insists he's called the same. What can ya do?)They're brothers. Both were mid-ranked angels before Seth rebelled because he was unhappy leading an existence to which he felt enslaved. He grew more discontent until eventually he refused to follow orders and was cast from heaven. Desperate to help him, Malachi found him lost on the dark plane that hangs suspended midway between the human world and the spiritual.

I don't think I’ve ever worked so hard on anything before in my life. It's been a massive learning curve.... been working on it for about three weeks now, most days. I'm aware of anatomy issues and some inconsistencies... the sketch was pretty vague and it went through several revisions as I was working /brainmelt

Ok first off just let me say,holy shit snacks,you art style is STUNNING!! I love the way the hair resembles lightning-yet looks as if it would be so soft to the touch.I also adore the way the colors blend together so smoothly,(in both the background and in their skin) I especially like the feeling of warmth emanating from the light.
Secondly,I'd like to say this picture makes me well-up with an array of emotions!

I think this is stunning! I am absolutely in LOVE with the hair texture. It's both hard and soft at the same time. The white hair reminds me of electricity. The drapery in the clothing is AH-MAZING as well. It looks soo luxurious and silky. I would like to say I feel like the darker character is lacking a little of the depth in the skin tones that the lighter character has. The darker character seems a little more "plastic". I think it just may be his cheek (it's so smooth!) that gives it that look. I know you didn't ask for a critique, but this is so amazing I couldn't help but point out what I saw. Although, I couldn't do half as well if my life depended on it, ha. Great work!

This is a really interesting painting style. I like the realism contrasted with the more stylized parts.

I'm confused about Malachi's right thumb, which is the thumb on Seth's chest.
It seems a bit strange to me, what with the proportion and where I'd imagine its nail to be positioned in the picture.
Also, Seth's head and neck seem a bit odd, from my perspective.
This is still a very beautiful piece, though; I'm just sharing what stood out to me.

Wow. This is one of the most spectacular works of art I've seen on DA, and that is saying something.
Just the raw energy in this is almost palpable. It must have required a great deal of energy to bring this to fruition. But it was worth it. Congrats on the DD!!! Well-deserved indeed.
