A fun little piece I did for my boyfriend's birthday which was last month.

He dropped the subtle hint to me that Zatanna is one of the hottest chicks of the Batman universe and if I ever wanted to draw him another girl like his Ivy that I should go with her. As good as that idea sounds, believe it or not, Zatanna is a really hard girl to settle on a pose for. Not only do I not know her character and personality as much as others in that universe, but she's got multiple layers to her personality. She's a performer and a vaudevillian, a mystic and great sorceress, using her mysterious and very powerful magic in the safe controlled environment of entertainment. It's just very hard to choose a pose that encompasses all of those things.

I would very much like to do Zatanna in the "Arkham Ivy" style and was trying to do it for his birthday...but I couldn't come up with a pose in time (and I'm actually still stuck at that stage). I wanted to do something special for my guy though sooooo I decided to make a bookmark of Zatanna in a simple, sexy pose for him to use when he's reading his comics (and thinking of me).

Created with Prismacolor colored pencils and markers. Completed in a couple hours since it's very small.
