Description

Inktober day 21 or when you REALLY want to read W.I.T.C.H again

I can easily remember that I liked all of the w.i.t.c.h, but back then I felt closer to Will. Like her, I was scared of being let down, rejected and was very insecure. She learn to have a well... strong will (aha), and I think that’s what happened for me as well.

Oh god, I miss this comic so much. Ah nostalgia!

Ahah same ! When I find one and read some pages, I'm like "oh that was so nice, my youuuth" (when I'm really not that old), and then I just read and I feel like I'm still this child reading those comic during summer.
I never saw the anime though.

I never saw the anime either, I never watched anime as a child, channel subscriptions were far too expensive. We had video tapes with some shows on them, but you can imagine that watching the same tapes over and over got dull after a while

Oh yes, I can easily imagine !Β
It was pretty much the same for me as well. But there was a channel that has anime during the afternoon sometimes and I could watch some. Otherwise it was the famous disney video tapes hahaΒ

Same, pretty much why I don't watch TV as an adult, that and I would have to pay through the nose for a TV license.

Yeah, it's the same for me. Sadly, in my country (I don't know if it's the same for you), but if you have a mobile phone or just a latpop you have to pay for radio-tv, even if you don't watch if but BECAUSE you could watch it thanks to them. u_u'

Here thatsΒ not the case, you only have to pay if you watch live TV (or what was previously live TV) online.
But, if you have a TV then even if you don't have an aerial or satellite connection you still need a TV license.
In truth the only thing the TV license pays for are the BBC channels, everything else is mostly subscription based.

O_o oh, it seems way more smart than our way. But well, I guess it's for taking even more money that they do that in my country, hugh.
But well, I'm still in the old fashion way thinking children shouldn't watch too much Tv and their phone. When I see how much my cousin watch Tv or play on his phone I feel like it's not the good answer.

I don't really watch TV. But unfortunately my step-cousin is only five and he does nothing but sit on his iPad all day. When I was his age (despite people who try to tell me that I grew up with computers), we couldn't afford computers, or the internet, or a TV subscription, so we played outside, every day come rain or snow.Β
I'm not sure that children grow up that way anymore.

Yeah, it was pretty much the same for me (except that we watched some movie in the weekend and I could watched some anime when I was a teen)
But I remember that I used to play so much outside, it's not the same for kids theses days. I have a job aside my school and it's with children and teens, and I can see how much they say they're bored etc and want to do nothing, never want to movie a bit, always with their phones even when they speak they don't look up.
I mean, I think it's normal that things do change, but when you work you have less time to go outside or do sports etc, It's a bit sad that they can't taste that even that young. But after all it's what their parents where aiming from sadly. It's often the case that they just put their children in front of tv to have some "peace".
