so this is the sprite for scubarine... i think it turned out pretty well :]the colors, i ussually make up asi go, so the shiney turned out pretty well :]

Whoops, missed that deatil (It's normal/shiny).
But if you need advice, make the shiny Scubarine more different colored. Like, make it black head, and white body. Or something.

Iron island isn't as remote as other areas of the game.
Did I mention it was for the Pearl version? If you but a GBA Pokemon game in the GBA slot of the DS, then unique Pokemon should appear. Mawile appears on Iron Island if Ruby version is put in. The whole process is called the "Dongle Method."

1. Yes, but the problem is that magnification doesn't go past x8. That sucks.
2. I still don't see what they are doing, and what I'm not. When I do 2 of the same methods in 2 different Pokemon, one can look completley real (Norsou, which'll be the first Pokemon I release. You'll love it.)

um... there are all sorts of sprite tutorials out there...
um... i myself cant really describe how to make sprites... but here's a site where you can make them, and get crit to improve :]

However, no matter what I do, I can't get this Fakemon to look like a real D/P sprite:

and in a lot of places the lines are lighter than the body, but the inside of the lines must NEVER be darker than the outlines... hence them being outlines...
the darkest colors can be on the inside is the same color as the outline, but thats only in extreme shadow

also, when you save the file, make it a "png" file so the lines and details are easier to see... it'll be clearer

hmmm.. not bad... but all sprites have outlines... though it's not solid black, they have shading in the outlines just as they do in the body of the sprite, if you'd like i can show you?
but um... in places where there is shadow throw in black for the outline, and also darken the colored lines as well... there isnt enough distinction between the lines and colors, so make the lines a little darker...
that kinda of "difference" between light and dark is more suited to very light colors, but with darker colors you needa darker outline to make the outline more distinct :]
