Description The finished commission of the third, larger version of the amulet design. The other two are posted in my jewelry gallery. It’s based off the hero’s amulet in the book series, The Iron Druid Chronicles, written by Kevin Hearne. I included all the charms and the fulgurite stone, since Tricked (Book 4). No details are posted yet on the look of the vampire unbinding charm later to come in the series, so that's not included (yet).

I am currently working full time on some projects, along with shop clerk work too. So for right now I can't focus on making more. But I do know there is a variation out there (along with Druidess Granuile's necklace) here:

Thanks,
I try to find time after retail work. As for fulgurites, local gem stores sometimes have them in, or I check on Ebay for such stones. I'm getting so used to utilizing them I know just by leftover sand where they usually come from now.

Welcome!
Are they mass produced like lampwork beads, right? I mean, aren't real fulgurites kind of rare? (read "insanely expensive!?!")
I applaud you lady, your work is fantastic as always.

For fulgurites, I think it depends. Like the ones that come out of Georgia have white sand like off of one of the beaches. To create man-made fulgurites I would suppose you'd need a bolt of extreme heat to melt sand to glass in the tube's inside (that varies between 900-3180°F). And by extreme heat I mean you would probably need a fire safety suit. I'm sure it could be replicated, but with very expensive equipment. For those larger cylindrical stones, those would very likely need a real lightning bolt for sure to get that high a temperature.

Still pretty cool anyway you think about it, kind of like geodes (aka Thunder-eggs). Artisan crafts of Nature!

Yeah, it would be pretty extreme, considering it's a massive amount of electricity that fries the inside LOL!

And :3 thank you for the Dev'Watch!
