Description
I've been wanting to try my hand at painting shoes for a while and thought this would be a good idea for a trial run. Pokemon Yellow was the first video game I owned when I was 7 and it spawned an obsession for Pokemon that I still keep today. I got the game for Christmas as well as my first Game Boy (that's right, it was the special Pokemon Yellow edition). Still my favourite Christmas gift of all time :3.

I've been working on-off on these shoes for a few weeks and really like them (although I'm scared of wearing them in case they start cracking). Ignore the dirty piano key lining xD I did them on an old pair of Air Walks I never wear anymore. Maybe now that I'm more confident I can spring the cash to do a pair of actual Vans.

I painted them using acrylics and did some of the details using coloured Sharpies, then finished off with a matte spray.

I used Photoshop to cut out the shoes and paste them to the background. It was my first time using it by myself and I swear it took hours x_x, but I'm happy with the result.
