Say, do you create your cuddlies with a sewing machine or by hand?
And how do you make the pieces fit togehter? I tried to create a bunny once but.. errr.. let's not speak about it

Usually with a machine. I hate hand sewing. So, SO much. And generally before I do a pattern, I do several sketches of how I want it to look, and try to see in my head how the pieces would fit. Like a fluffy mind-puzzle. If it's something kinda common, I'll do a google search like for example "rabbit plushie" and look at the seams and the pieces. See how everything works together.

For me, I just sat down one day and said "I want to be good at this" so I started learning and practicing. I made SO MANY ugly plushies for my boyfriend that he's too nice to admit are hideous.

What a funny story ^^ I made one for my boyfriend's birthday, too but that one turned out allright (I used the pattern of the Zebra I draw all the time and just added horns to it)
Yet, the best part about plushies is making clothes for them! *_*

I have my mom do the hard parts, like knit tiny sweaters with snowflake patterns in them or even little jeans breeches with little pockets up front and on the butt
