Do you ever wonder, because I know I do,
What lies along a broken road?
Shattered dreams and twisted hearts
And at the end
An empty void
This endless circle, and cage of steel,
It’s my broken road
Unending loneliness, and aching heart
That is all I’ve known
I long for more, a change I think
A chance to love, a chance to know,
I haven’t been forgotten
But in this small, unchanging world,
there is no hope for change
The world goes on and here I stay
Forgotten and alone
Maybe one day, it all will end,
And in my death, I’ll live again

An older piece I've finally decided to share. This is a Tribute to the lovely Tokitae/Lolita at Miami Seaquarium in Florida, along with a poem I wrote in the wake of the drawing.
I'll leave the drawing to interpretation.

That poem got me right in the feels.
I really like the piece, how feathery the wave...stuff...looks, and the colors! And Toki's eye is just.....-goes and sobs in a corner-
