Another of my experimentations with painter ix. Somewhat inspired by the MGS style concept art, I worked around with digital watercolor and 1.5 ball point pen to come up with this soldier image. The whole gas mask thing really appealed to me, and working around with the image texture I developped a style which I really enjoy. So with this experimentation I`ve managed to advance my painter ix skill a bit more(amazing program). Again the media was Corel Painter IX, digital watercolor and pens - ball point 1.5. The time it took me was approx 20min.Related content

I like the style, its very MGS like, im impressed mostly by the fact that you did this with Corel Painter, that program can be beyond difficult.

Really nice piece of work. I really like the way the positionig of the soldiers is like in some actual photos of warzones... I love the techinque!!!!!

Thanks -(srry if i'm replying a lil late, been a tad busy) It's a sorta newer technique I've been working on now for the past while, lately I haven't gotten around to it('ve mostly only had time to sketch), but if you've got any questions, just shoot eh.
