Description
Panther Girl's senseless body is carried into Mad Mike's experiment chamber. Rusty Dreamer is quite confident that her brutal blow with the infamous lead pipe has reduced the Jungle Gem's ability to resist. I loved seeing all the different angles of that superb OTS-carry! And now that Rusty Dreamer is setting my scantily-clad heroine down, I will be treated to another great view of her marvelous figure. Excellent, Mike! Keep up the good work!

Imbued with the spirit of Kaanga, Monica Campbell is very hard to keep down. I imagine that she will come to in just a few moments....

Very nice. For continuity considerations, I don't think I'm going to change my rendering of Panther Girl, but I like they way he attached her cowl to the straps of the body thong. I like the relaxed, wistful expression on her inert face.
I'm delighted to learn of Xynthillium in time to incorporate it in the series that I am currently working up. It fit's right into what I've got in mind...

As far as the costume is concerned, I actually originally pictured her in this type of tiny "jungle girl"-type outfit:

(And, at this point, she wore her hair in an afro.)
"Chad TheH" is one of my favorite artists. He always depicts her in a "leopard-spots-all-over" costume:

Monica acquired the "black-cowl-and-body-thong, leopard-spotted-boots-and-gloves" a bit later in her career. I will tell you the story in a little while, but for now, back to work!

It was a rather abortive and disjointed beginning to a story, "Panther Girl in Black and White".
I decided to move on to other scenarios instead, but here is the gist of the story:
A pretty young undergrad student of Irish descent, named Amanda, a strawberry blonde with fairly short, curly hair, has become a "Panther Girl Wannabee". She studies up on the arcane arts, befriends Monica under false pretenses, and invites herself into Monica's house. While Monica is showering, Amanda performs a ritual that will enable her to steal the Panther powers, at least partially, for short amounts of time.
As Monica is coming out of the shower, the poor, unsuspecting and naive young heroine is clubbed senseless and left naked on the floor. Amanda then dons the costume, feels a surge of power, and rushes out to fight crime.
When Monica comes to, she looks for her costume, and realizes that Amanda has taken it. She calls upon Kaanga, who is in his "Black Panther" phase at the moment. He zaps the new tiny black body-thong on her, and explains what she needs to do in order to get her full powers back -- she is currently at "half-strength"!
Monica rushes out after Amanda, but comes upon a crime spree, perpetrated by Daredevil's foe, the Man-Bull. After a very brief altercation, Panther Girl is soundly defeated. The Man-Bull takes her to his lair.
Amanda feels that Monica is in trouble, and, despite her initial evil intentions, decides to help out.
Unfortunately, Man-Bull takes her out almost immediately!
That gets us to the final picture, where both gals are prisoners of the villain.
I wanted to have Rob do more pics, where our heroines would escape, team up, only to get thrashed again!
I was going to have the Black Widow (at one point, she was DD's girl friend) find them, free the panther babes, and finally, the three of them would beat the Man-Bull. Then Monica would convince Amanda to give up her her quest for the panther power.
Eventually, I decided to shelve the project, and have Rob do some other scenarios for me, instead.
But that is how she got the black body-thong costume!

I think it is a good story. I may try re-creating it or an image or two from it at some point. I love ideas like this. Thanks for sharing this and sorry I didn't let you know sooner how exciting I found the story. I've been a bit busy with other projects..

Rob's art was great, but he drew the Man-Bull like he was a male model who happened to have bull-horns growing out of his skull. I actually would have preferred that the villain look rather bestial in appearance (the way he does in the Marvel comics) -- but, of course, the main thing for me is sexy heroines getting KOed, and I dertainly did get that in this sequence, so who was I to complain! Ha!
