Whew, sorry for the radio silence guys, I was moving my workshop to a brand new studio!! I now share a lovely office with two other talented ladies. I have been working on commissions, but then the trailer for the next How To Train Your Dragon movie came out and I HAD to make this girl right away! <3 I've completed quite a few other plushies and I'll be working on photographing them all and getting them posted next week
The Light Fury made to match my previous Toothless/Night Fury plush so she's the same size as him and all (33" long and 36" wingspan), with wired wings and machine embroidered eyes on shannon minky as usual.

I don't think I'd pull out this particular pattern again mostly because I think it no longer exists, but since a lot of people are asking I'll make chibi/baby versions, probably some time this summer. I'll have pricing and size info once they're designed

well your not gonna get any good sales that way you have to think of the costumers and that people don't have that kind of money in this world today try starting out slow and raze the price when the time is right

I mean, you also have to think of the artist? The artist doesn’t HAVE to make this for people, but they are, and it’s more than fair to pay them properly for their time, materials, patterns, experience, ect. And people don’t NEED to buy something like this. 400 is more than fair. You don’t see companies giving animation studios 20 bucks and saying “we’ll give you more as you continue making the movie”. It’s the same thing. You’re paying for experience, time, materials, patterns, everything. It’s well worth the price.
Might I note it’s incredibly rude to try and degrade and insult the artist into getting a lower price, and you’re more likely to get blacklisted from buying than for the artist to lower their prices. Please try to consider the amount of effort that goes into making something this high quality, and be a better person next time.
(and if you want something cheaper, wait until dreamworks releases actual toys of the light fury that will be much cheaper, and stop harassing good artists

You don't have to order something from someone, no one is forcing you to. Some people do have that money, and the artist is right to want to be compensated for their efforts, labor, and the time that goes into this. Just because you cannot afford it doesn't mean that it is wrong.

If people want a one of a kind, hand made, personal plush of this standard and quality. most people will pay this and more. I've seen plushies at cons that are to this standard sell for over double. An artist should never lower there price and standard to compromise.
We have bills to pay to and for many of us our work is our primary income.
Please keep that in mind next time u put these kind of comments to a well established artist .

Please don't worry about my sale stats, I'm doing very well and remember that if something is out of your personal price range it doesn't mean it's outside of other people's or not worth the price.

Oh another idea, would printed mink for her wings/back be ideal? So cuddles yet super light colors as well ^^ idk it looked like she had blues purples very very lightly on. Either way imma still order <3

I don't think printed minky would be the answer for her, since in order for the pearly white shimmer to actually be visible it means I'd have to make her base color something other than white. What I have in mind actually makes use of light reflective shimmer so I don't have to sacrifice the white base for the effect.
