My excuse for lack of submissions over the last week or 2 and stacks of messages to wade through, I've been hooked on need for speed most wanted, although the Gallado drives a lot better this is my favorite by looks, I'm not sure about the Number on the doors now but they are on and I don't see them when I'm trashing Cops

Barrett's right... looks so much better on the PC, but alas, I could not find a PC version, and had to go with the Gamecube.
Still a dang fun game.
And that's a sweet car!

Yeah I love the car, although the Gallardo drives/handles better in the game the DB9 looks a lot better, If I had the money I'd have a hard time thinking which one to buy, 1 of either factory model or a Nissan 350Z and chav it up
don't know about the Gamecube and pc diferences as I don't have a gamecube, all the games I want to play come out exclusive to PC or a convertion for it anyway, with the exeption of Gran Turismo HD which I really really wish was on the PC aswell. just look at it... [link]

Now THOSE are superb grafix. That would be hte only reason for getting the PS3 and the fact that some great games will only be available for it in those awesome grafix. But the overly inflated pricing just makes me want to puke blood.

do yourself a favour and don't bother getting the ps3 yet, don't be a fool and follow the sheep who want to spend double or triple what it will cost in 3-4 months...
when the ps2 came out I really wanted it so I did the unthinkable which was to pre order before release, I payed £500 to get the console, 3 shit games and Gladiator on DVD, I wish I saved £485 and just bought the DVD!!
the games were crap for atleast 4-5 months and when the good games came out the console had dropped to around £150-£250, I also got extended warenty for 5 years!!!! what a dick as I sold it a year later and was payed up on the warenty for a further 4.
I'm not saying the ps3 isn't worth looking at... just wait for about 3-4 months untill the price has plumeted and the good games are out not just the rushed jobs to fill the games shelfs.

Good advice. But I'm just trying to go for entertainment not graphix or any of that serious technical stuff. I'm just going to get a Wii since it is VERY cheap and very fun.

good choice... I havn't got one myself but my sisters boyfriend bought one and it's very adictive... good for drink fuelled madness but always use the wrist straps... this will minimized the chance of black eyes, broken noses, controller embeded in the wall or screen or the controller exiting your hand, flying through a window and landing in your neighbours fish pond

Bad memories? I'll try to remember that tip though since I will be getting some serious action based games like Zelda and Prince of Persia. Both have crazy sword waving moves that must be utilized. Prince of Persia has dual wielding though so that's just plain badass.
