You're very welcome. Yes, a panarama would look spectacular. Where is this place again?

beautiful. You have selected "advanced critique"... so on that note I'll be picky... when you have such a unique portion of a picture, in this case the sky, I personally prefer to know what you did or what caused the effect... but that's me. I love this picture.

Thanks to for featuring you.

there is no sky , the reflection on the water could be thought of as whispy clouds but it's the mountain + thin silt or dirt floating on the surface... could even be streaks of slush caused by near freezing water

how I isolated the middle of the image if thats what you mean is through photoshop, I created a layer and filled it with a black gradient, 100% - 0% - 100% opacity so the top and bottom was full black and the middle was clear, I then set the opacity for that layer to around 15-20%... I might have changed the blend mode of it aswell to either soft light, multiply or overlay

thanks for the fav + watch

thanks a lot, this is one of those shots that I wasn't really fussed with when I first saw it after transfering all the images to my pc, I thought it was just OK when I subbed it but it's one of the most favorited ( if there's such a word ) and it's been featured in quite a few journals, other images I love and personally think of as my best don't get much attention

thanks also for the

hei

perfect colour palette, love the mood. One of the rare photographs where the "horizon" can be placed running through the middle of the picture... nicely composed. This has something very unreal, can there be a place beautiful, serene as this? I have no doubt.

great eye and good job!

Thanks for the comment, I agree on the middle position as I tryed placing them in the bottom third but the brightness of the sky took my eyes up and away from the subject, rather than leave it in the middle and have people pick at that fact I added the gradient to the top and bottom to emphisize that it was intensional

the one I've just subbed from the same scene is also in the middle to give virtical symetry with the mountains
