One could argue the idea isn´t new, but elsewhere ideally seen with female warriors or fallen angels -cliché.
What my attention grasped was the composition, i usually have a foible for a good flow into images , and this is one has a damn good entry as also tension!
My first thought was:" it could make a good CD-Cover booklet, while on the front it looks rather common -and on the back it makes you aware "why so serious"...
On the other side with that cloth -the topic couldn´t be better chosen on top of the financial and world -economy -crisis, so i could imagine this as a header illustration from the "Financial times" very good.
Technically this work is flawless, even the foggy distance and the crashed buildings look believable (note to self:" less is more").
Even the cravat, (which is a bit too McDonalds for my taste) is a magnet to tease the look of the viewer, which then goes to the (nearby) center of the golden spiral -the cigarette.
From this point this could also be a promotional campaign for a new cigarette brand.
I´m always fond of merging different topics, aspects, messages and ideas - which then leaves the viewer an amount of meanings to put back into the image -, but this one has topped especially through its simplicity!

I think it's cool because eventhough it is the so called 'end of the world' story, it's as if he's oblivious to it or he's soo in shock he's to the point of just sitting down and smoken' a cig. Great stuff!!

awesome.. i get this idea that he somehow is behind the destruction he is now taking a break amongst. The dustbringer, impervious, indestructible answers to no government no organisation nobody at all, his only undoing will in the end be his coveted smokes.. he is the business man, plays poker with worlds, uses countries as his toys.

mindre syret.. der er en mand i et jakkesæt på billedet..
Måske er det der er syret i mit univers, hvor paver med fisser i fjæset er helt normalt.

Har da helt sikkert lært lidt i løbet af årene.
Er begyndt lidt at dyrke noget der i sin form er mere simpelt, men ikke mindre komplekst af den grund. Er begyndt at få et eller andet for et umiddelbart rent look..

That's realy well done man. Not well... it's amazing. Everything in this piece is done with such a great attention to detail, composition, shape and color. It all works great togeter. It's realy easy on the eyes and tells an exciting story about a loonatic business guy blowing up a big city. I want to know more about this
