Before saying anything else, I feel it necessary to apologize for putting full blown fan art in my gallery (I'll probably move it to scraps later on principle) Normally, I would never do something like this, but somehow I've fallen so head over heels for the DomekixWatanuki relationship in xxxHolic, that I couldn't resist both drawing and digitally inking this. Thus, here we are. Despite usually hating all things CLAMP and having no interest in otherwise doing fanart, this pairing is so cute with so much chemistry that I couldn't help it

I think I have a new found respect for fanartists though. It is really frickin' hard to draw someone else's characters while trying to stay true enough to the original style so that they'll still be recognizable. Oh, and before anyone else has a chance to say it: the smoke (yep, that's what it's supposed to be)= pure fail. I was really at a loss as to how I wanted to do that part
