What an aloofness you've given him.
It's certainly appropriate.

Yeah, this sketch was made exactly to make fun about Hiddleston portait of Loki in the movies. I grow up with Thor classic comics, and Loki is portaried as a barbaric character, he's royal, obviously, but in a barbaric way, very tall, muscular, rude and with this "wicked witch style" shady face. In the movie is like a little lord and i find it so funny and silly. And then, the sketch was done for that.

In Thor and Avengers is basically a parody of the comic book character, but all the Marvel Studios movies seems spoofing the comics!

It's all interpretation I say. the problem is when interpretations become reality and whatnot. (see how they made a Samuel Jackson-style Nick Fury in the Ultimate Universe...then Samuel Jackson became Nick Fury...and now that's how everyone thinks he is forgetting all the stuff prior)

You are right. I thinks that in the interpretation many of the actor listed by Marvel Studios today have the idea that act like a comic book charaters mean to overact. And this is a shame. Iron Man is a clown, Loki is a diva and so on... just look at other comic book movie and this not happen, in Watchmen no one overact, neither Tobey Maguire or Michael Keaton or Eric Bana (for examples).

i think so too, i also think Andrew Garfield was a good Spider Man, i didn't appreciate what they did to Mandarin, specially because he is the main rogue of IM enemy pantheon, i liked Loki on The Avengers EMH because he was arrogant but didn't exagerate this trait, unlike the one in the movie

I like Downey's portrayl of Tony, mostly cause it's a parody of his own party-boy image. But yeah, if people take things too seriously then people consider it "bad".
(and yes I love the movie of Watchmen...and think "Hulk" was underrated; the Lee/Bana film)

You are right, I ever thinks that RDJ was choose for the part because of his extreme past with droogs and alcol. I liked the first Iron Man, the irony was sofisticated, the relationship with Pepper is cute, the action great. Second one was goofy, Tony pissing in the armor, boring dyalogues, cheap enemies. Third is clearly a parody of the character and i don't like it at all.
Lee's Hulk is very cool for the choose to re-do the comic languages on screen, has a strong script, very true to the psychological Peter david's Hulk and amazind sfx. The second one was good as an action, nothing more.
In the Avengers Hulk is out of charcter, too manageable. He takes order from Cap!! C'mon, Cap is a soldier and Hulk first enemy is the U.S. Army!!

The Hulk has always been portrayed as a simple mind and is friends with whoever probably doesn't get his way. I can see him and Cap getting along as long as he just gets the chance to smash stuff. Honestly I sot of wished they went a bit more into his family or something if only to hint at Jen but that's just personal hopes and dreams.
Glad I'm not the only one who liked the Ang Lee Hulk BTW; and yeah, the first IM was awesome in it's irony and in portraying this party boy who is forced to fix his life after being captuerd by terrorists...and yeah, by now it's more or less comic book stuff instead of real stuff but I think that's what happens when you have a hook.
