Thanks! I think ultimately I'm going to stick with a real Edward Gorey feel to the backgrounds. It makes me happy! ..... However, the scan jobs tend to blur the hatching when you look up close and I'm really not sure why! I had to use the sharpen tool to make sure it will transfer to print properly!

Oh, do you like Yi's character design? I also did Xin's! No idea when he'll appear just yet, but I wanted to make sure the brothers all meshed well.

I actually have a pic of Xin somewhere in my sketchbooks I may have posted it I can't remember... it had Xin, Gabriel, and Thyme I think
truth be told Yi and Avi weren't supposed to have a resemblance to each other since Yi's supposed to resemble his mother, one of the many reasons Avi hated Yi to begin with
Avi actually resembled his mother more and Xin more their father o.o;

Yeah, and I've taken that into consideration. Yi has an oval face and very different eyes. His nose is also longer. Avi has a rounded face with a shorter slightly less delicate nose. Also, Avi has less thick lips. I figured both parents had black hair, because they have a very Asian inspired genetic structure. o.o But I did want them to look enough alike where they were believable as family to an outsider until you bring up the past (if I have time to do so hopefully).
