I always figured that Warrior in Kayfabe had been around since those days and simply kept on going, seeking out the greatest warriors of each age to challenge, to prove the strength of his beliefs and improve his physical prowess, and that's why he's so physically strong and seemingly wacko by the time he appeared in WWE.

Yeah, that was most apparent during his feud with Hogan for Wrestlemania VI. He did sorta play it like he and Hogan were avatars of two ancient opposing forces, that reincarnated every generation. The character felt to me like he could have been a caveman brought to present day through time-travel, which could have made an awesome Bronze Age comic.

With the number of times he made reference to outer space, it was equally likely he was some alien being who crashed on our planet at the beginning of time.

Considering his look and the time-period he became famous I'd say that Warrior was a lot like Superman, if he had come from Eternia instead of Krypton.
