I love the sense of unity you've created with this piece, the colors of the sky look like they were painted on the ground with a brush.

I am risking a guess to even say that none of your shots are HDR. Including this one.
I am guessing that a longer exposure would be used to gather all the light in the shot, but how do you get all the detail up front without blowing out the lighter colors (such as the white clouds) in the back. I have tried and tried, but to no avail, I have given up temporarily to settling with a mere silhouette shot of sorts.
