I was sad that he almost betrayed Kirby and his frenemies(I'm refering to Dedede, MK and Bandana Dee), but thank NOVA that it was the crown that possessed him and not himself being truly evil.

Thankfully one of the creators comfirmed that Magolor survived and turned back good, thus beginning Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition's New Challenge Stages.
