I like the Eternian language inscription you put on various parts of the Power Sword. Nice shading, too.

What a great piece! I like the more anime styling he has here, makes him look strong yet friendly. Great pose, great composition and excellent pencil work. Would you have any objections to me colouring this when I get a chance?

What a great picture. I wish I could pull off that level of detaling and sophistication with my pencil work...

Thats killer man. I dug He-man hardcore as a little kid, who didn't. I can't watch the show now because people point out all the homo-erotic things in it, like him basically dry-humping the back of the cat when he rides it. They've destroyed my love of one of the best 80's action cartoons, but anyhoo, love the pic man. Damn fine work.

this pic looks great! but the face is bothering me...the mouth line is a bit...sideways...and i also think that the fur shouldn't be so...sharp...it kinda looks like he's wearing fat thorns (which would hurt very much XD)

hummmmmm. interesting point. but for the style i was working with i'm not sure how a softer fur would look when i have every other shadow kind of blocked in. but i'll make a note of that.

I don't know, if you're comfortable with your style of fur, that's ok ^^ then keep to it.

really dont like he man, but was quite drawn to this picture. you got some good stuff going on there. i really think gothic bloke had some good points tho. it doesnt really matter whether you crap or fantastic, you can still make well informed and intelligent comments. that aside, the pic is good, nice work.

i agree totally, theres always room to improve, but you should also look for that in your own work aswell. i don't think i'm king shit or anything. theres still a lot i can improve on. just got to get back into the feel for drawing people is all. been drawing freakin transformers for too long. i didn't mean to chew him out like that, but i was still early for me, and i'm not a real morning person, but now i have to get up and it puts me in a bad mood sometime. it was one of those days. oh well. maybe i went a little overboard on the shadow on the chest, so you can't really see how big it is. oh well i'll know for next time.

OMG! Dood, seriously - you rock. As mentioned previously - I am a big He-man fan since I was a wee lil gal ^_^ This is awesome, a nice range of line weights and the shading on the muscle tone and clothing is very nicely done... and dood, although Eternia isn't one the most non-deserty places, the background is sweet, the lighter lines is groovy - doesn't distract from He-man, but nice composition-wise ^_^

Look at the detail in the sword O_O *rambles on for hours*

well it may be me but i think the arms are large compared to the chest size which is small. The head bothers me a tad, it just looks off somewhat. what lead do you use, it looks to come up with better resolution than when i upload stuff of mine, then again it may be the crappiness of the scanner at fault. Not bad

dude, i thanks you for the comments, but it seems that your over critical on other peoples work, when yours needs improvemnet aswell. maybe you should take some of the comments you've made about my work and apply it to your own. don't get me wrong i don't mind constructive criticism, and i'm not trying to be a little bitch, but one of my pps is when people tell me how to do my work when they themselves have issues with there own caliber of work. well it seems i've bit your head off. well it's early and i haven't had my coffee yet. again, thanks for the comments. as for the pencil leads i use a hb or and h on mayfair paper. i also have a type of maker sketchbook that takes pencil really well. i think that you should move away from britol board, it really is crappy stuff. i think that might be where your toubles are. oh and don't use rough paper, the lead will go all over the place, and smear like all get out. i know form experience. hope i haven't offended you.

no, its ok, its just that i usually get constructive criticism on how to get better, so i feel in turn i should do my best (though i'm not yet the best) to try and help other artists...but i guess i'm just annoying, sorry, i just don't like it when all i ever get is "Wow, thats so amazing! Your a really wonderful drawer!" but i guess im really just the only one who doesn't like that type of stuff, sorry to offend you, i've been under stress amounts of incredible levels lately, so that might have also been affecting me, sorry. I should just stop being annoying, compliment everyone how their so amazing, and jump off a bridge or something

no, it's ok. i don't mind constructive criticism. your right in it's better then everyone acting like your parents telling it's great and stuff. just keep in mind not to be over critical. and the points you made eariler, just once and a while look at your own work to see if these apply to your work and if you can fix it. but do this before you ink it. i guess things are ok. i got lots of stress too, so all is well. no offense taken. hope the same for you. well lates
