Some sketch cards I cranked out last night. The Cap body shot is Zak Plucinski's; I just inked it.I didn't bother scanning all the ones I did; there are some truly horrendous pieces I slammed through (did almost 50 in a few hours), but these are the ones I'm not completely embarrassed to show you all...

These are well done for being rendered so quickly.... and I am jealous of Zak... I would LOVE to have had your kick ace inks on one O' my cards!!!!

Nah, trust me, these are the only ones that turned out ok. The rest are bad and even more rushed. Had fun inking ol' Zak- we work together, so he had me trapped!

oddly enough i like the "simplest" ones the best: the mindless ones and ikaris. very striking and nicely rendered.
question: how long does 1 card take? and do you plan out what you want to fraw on the cards or are these off-the-cuff pieces?

Off the cuff, completely. The simpler ones might take me 5 minutes max, the harder ones, maybe 15-20 minutes. I was really trying not to worry about finish, and just get them done as quickly as possible.
