Description So, here's a piece Dan and I did on Sunday of SDCC... I really, REALLY loosely pencilled it, and Dan did the rest. Wolverine was kind of a theme at our booth, and Dan does a great Wolvie, so I had to get in on that action. And yes, we were hung over.

Not sure I have a favorite, usually follow the artists more than the characters, but agree that both those X-guys are fun!

I try never to draw or do anything else when I'm hungover, lol!

That's what I do; hangovers affect me way too much in my old age, I avoid them like the plague if possible...

"Lmao" Stands for laughing my ass off. I say it way too much online. The "XD" is a smiley thing (). It's sideways though. My friends all use things like that a lot when we chat, so I ended up picking it up too lol.

Ahh hangovers. I've only had 1. It was a family New Year's Eve party, and my mom was watching me. I'm only 18 now. Strangely, teens down here in the south can order an alcoholic drink in restaurants, their parents just have to hand them the glass. I think that's crazy.

Ah, I am so computer illiterate...

I've had way too many, but I am a lot older too. I actually don't think that's crazy; most kids get into stuff that's 'forbidden' simply because it is forbidden. By taking away the mystery, it allows kids to see it's not all that, and in turn, probably not end up alcoholics...

I'm too computer literate.

Both of my parents have allowed me to drink a little bit once and a while. It really does take the mystery out of it because I can't understand why kids always want to have parties and get wasted all the time. There are better things to do in life.

Definitely better things to do. I wish I had spent more time drawing and less time drinking when I was a kid.

I've been fortunate with that. My dad never like that I did so much drawing, but he never stopped me. ^_^ I've been drawing consistently for 15 years, and I'm just starting to try new things lol. Like with the sketches did. I kinda failed, but I need the experience. It would be nice getting a job doing something art-related too. Which seems to be hard to come by.

Art gigs are hard to come by; I went to art school and networked my butt off to get the ones I've had, and have worked hard ever since to continue getting them. There's no easy path, and you have to be really, really good, really fast, or really lucky- or at least 2 of those three things... The last two cover me...

I usually have really bad luck, so I'm knda screwed there. I think the only thing that can really help me at this point is more practice. I've got other jobs to back me up and I still have time for my drawing though, so I guess i'm pretty lucky with that. I had a really amazing time in Michigan with an artist named Scott Rosema, who sat with me and talked about things I do well and need to improve on. Usually that would have been a very expensive session, but he did it for free. His studio is called Temujin Studio, and I know he's got a site but I don't remember it. Really awesome guy though.
