Description
There are birds that are nearly impossible to follow and make photos of while panning in flight....swallows.
They chase insects around and are so nimble that you never know for sure which way they are going to fly. With a bunch of practice, it gets better, but it is never easy.
Bats are very much the same in their flight "patterns". They look like they fly helter skelter, but they are actually just honing in on their dinner.
Of course, bats do not come out until long after the sun has left the building. Between the low light and erratic behavior, shooting is a great challenge.
"There will be more...as soon as I can get some color in the sky"
