It's been a while since we last checked on the trailer wolves. Seems Lupe (yes, they have names now ...we have Ziblink to thank for that) is interested in making art for an online challenge. :3

PANEL 1:

LUPE (to reader): "I'm gonna draw a wand for DeviantArt's 'What's Your Wand?' art challenge"

PANEL 2:

LUPE (to self): "I'll use this toy wand as a reference ...Hm. It's been under the bed a while; I should clean it up before I draw it"

PANEL 3:

[Knock-knock]

MAE (sing-song voice): "Oh, Lupe! Mom has a bucket of butter beans she wants you to shell!"

PANEL 4:

LUPE (sighfully): "In a minute! I'm polishing my wand!"

MAE (startled): "...Ooo! I'm gonna tell Mom!"

PANEL 5:

LUPE (annoyed): "So? Tell her exactly what I said!"

[Awkward pause]

LUPE (horrified): "WAIT!"

"So imagine yourself as a witch or wizard or whomever is possessing a wand! Are you reading a book with people using magic? Do you like to draw fantasy-related stuff? Are you playing a cool game where you fight with magic? (Slight hint to the amazing prize!) Let that inspire you and draw the wand that represents you best!"

It's skill-based, so I've already lost ...not that I enter contests, anyway (I don't believe in them, for the most part).

So, the eldest wolf boy is named Lupe. I've decided to give him a makeover, in the form of white hair and a striped tail.
Mae is the name of the girl. The little twins are named Alfie and Brett (the Alf-Bet Twins!). ^_^ :3
The mom is simply 'Mom', because mom. ^^

The featured pencil is a bit too nice to feature with a comic/quickie (I generally feature junk with comics), but c'mon! It was too perfect! ^^

The pencil is a 'Grip Stix' from Pentech. Grip Stix were described thus,

"Pentech improves the classic American pencil!
Each colorful notch conforms to the natural contour of the finger so small hands can grip the pencil with ease!"

My pack was issued in the 1990s, so I'm unsure if 'Grip Stix' are made anymore, albeit, some other brands offer pencils with similar notches. That said, Pentech doesn't seem to exist anymore (as a pencil manufacturer, anyway).

Either way, I'm unsure whether the notches make an appreciable difference (I've not yet used a notched pencil). Comic was drawn via a Rapis Extra pencil.
