Description A Commission for a good friend of mine ^^ He loves planet Orxon from Ratchet and Clank but he wanted a planet with rings and a moon, so i combined both ^_^

How do you do the rings?  I've followed several tuts, but can't get a result quite this good.  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

I originally started with this tutorial: www.solarvoyager.com/images/tu…
But I changed some of the steps to make it look like I imagined it. Over the time I changed to a more realistic style, like you see in my newer works.

Is that still Orxon? I think you created a new planet!

The Planet itself still represents Orxon, the moon and ring however are new and added on request, as this was a commission

haha XD i looked on wikipedia for screen sizes and one of the biggest ones availanle for 16:9 was this, so i thought i should upload it in this size that everyone can put it as their wallpaper if they want to ^^
but maybe, for the next one, i'll make a smaller version...

Absolutely stunning... You made the most rotted and poluted planet in the solana galaxy look as beautiful as Planet Pokitaru.
