Yes, I truely hate them.If you're going to fave something, if it's your favourite, don't you have a reason to fave it?
Why not write a comment containing this reason or a little bit more?
Even if it's just "Oh my, that's so funny", or "Wow, words can't describe how much I love this", the artist will know WHY you faved it, WHAT you like about it.
Don't tell me I should be happy because a fave is compliment enough.
Seriously.
Looking through deviantART, most (not all) fave gallerys are like "yay, I'm faving every second picture of the anime I like, at least ten in one minute, yay!"
That's no compliment.
It just means, you were one of those pictures by coincidence.
No feedback at all. ._.
I really wish there was a function to enable faves, at least, without commenting...

Biggest pet peeve right here. I seriously cannot stand it.
First of all, commenting takes effort, which shows that whoever favourited truly cares. It takes zero effort to click a button and move on to the next deviation on your hit list.
Secondly, the 'no time' argument is bullshit. 'No time'? How'd you find time to find my work, consider it something you want to add into your favourites and do the same to hundreds more deviations?
Third, favouriting should show a sign of true satisfaction towards what has been favourited. It shouldn't be done to collect stuff for your own purposes, someone worked hard and deserves a proper insight, even if it's negative.
I really wish people would grow a heart and leave even a small comment or something to that effect. 10 seconds out of your life is not demanding.

even if you check the profile of those butthurts who fave but don't leave commens, you can clearly see that they usually ave crappy deviations and lots of comments in their pages saying "thanks for the fave!" or no deviations.

You know what I hate? I hate it when people get all butthurt because someone didn't feel like commenting before faving their work. In fact, if somebody decides to come onto my page and flame me for not commenting, I'll be sure to unfave their stuff and never look at anything they do again.

Well, liking something wich was a FAVOURITE before less just because someone asked you for your opinion (it seems rare to have or show one these days) looks more butthurt to me.
If you think about your favourites like that, no one will care if you ever fave anything again, seriously.

THIS. I hate when people fave without commenting. It's so freaking annoying. Then if you get upset, they're like "Oh, I'm sorry" and then try to make something up off the top of their heads about how they feel about your drawing or whatever you do. I love this stamp.
