Hello one and all! Ever since I found out how much better shading and more detail make my drawings look, I decided to do updated versions of some of them. All the originals however will remain up for those who like them. That said, this is my updated version of one of my pictures drawn for my fanfic, "Ronin Warriors: Love and War," depicting Ryo Sanada (真田遼) a.k.a Ryo of the Wildfire (烈火のリョウ) and Akane Otani (大谷茜) a.k.a. Akane of the Firestorm (燃焼のアカネ)!

Since Ryo is descended from Sanada Yukimura, Akane is descended from the family of Sanada's wife, Chikurin-in, given she has the same surname as the Clan Chikurin-in was originally from, the Ōtani Clan. Ryo wears the armor of Wildfire and was born on August 15, while Akane wears the armor of Firestorm and was born on April 12, making her 20 months younger than Ryo. I also tried to give her a combination of Mia and Lady Kayura's eyes, but I'm not totally sure I've succeeded.

And as you can see, I added the names of their armors in Japanese kanji, with Ryo's Wildfire on the left (烈火/Rekka), and Akane's Firestorm on the right (燃焼/Nenshō). Although, the kanji for Akane's armor more literally translates to "combustion."
