My friend inspired me to draw She said she'd like a tattoo with a rose and blood one day, so I drew this for her ~
She's such an inspiration :'D Thanks Emma~
Free-hand ballpoint pen, black and red. Thank god for those 4-sided clicky pens XD

it doesn't have to be a white rose with blood dripping from it. when i saw it i thought of the white roses that were in Alice in Wonderland that were being repainted red for the Queen of Hearts

True, though I personally saw it as a bleeding rose, cause I was a weird kid when I drew it.

we all go through that at some point, lol. it caught my eye because i've been trying to come up with an Alice In Wonderland tattoo design for me and my sister and i've had no progress because i can't think of a design for myself and i suck at drawing roses.

I suck at drawing realistic roses cause of all the petal variations, but stylized roses was more my thing. Oddly enough this design here was so popular someone went and tattooed it on themselves, and they even sent me a picture. It was quite a surprise

i have't drawn many roses so whenever i try to draw one it comes out to be crap, and now that you mention that there can be different variations its probably why i don't draw them too much, lol. and having someone appreciate your art enough to get it tattooed just makes drawing stuff even better, in fact 3 of my drawings have gotten tattooed because my friends liked them so much.
