I agree that Bart does care for her just as she cares for him although the first thing she would think seeing his face i her bed is that this must be a nightmare lol. Bart, Edna and sex do not add up so there is a deeper connection between them and if he didn't so much for her on a young level he wouldn't pick on her so much. He's still too young to know about love and if he was older in his late teens early twenties then maybe they could hook up but Destiny took that option away from us when Edna/Marcia passed away. Then again I often look for a silver lining with things.Β Β

Β This is cute. Β The colors are perfect, and they look just like they do on the Simpsons, if not better.
I have always thought, ever since Bart pulled the bit with "dating" Edna though the mail, that he cared a lot for her. Β Perhaps not in a romantic fashion, but it proved that Bart did feel something for her. Β And, for all his unholy terror, Edna has said she would miss him. Β This wonderful image brings all those feeling into wonderful focus in a cute, warm and tender way that I think perfectly sums up something that is hard to pin down in any other way.

This would look a bit more genuine if you'd drawn Bart in his usual green PJs. Other than that, I'd love to see more of the two of 'em like this!
