i actually really love this. it's haunting and dark. you just know what's under there, you know it's dark and scary and all things evil, and you don't want to look - but you can't help it. just great!

Thanks Cath! It's one of my favourite shots from TTT - Frodo, Sam and Gollum are hiding and then you see this dude and a nice shot of just his gauntlets (probably my next painting!) and that lovely thwop-thwop noise. No hint of what he's riding but then the camera pulls back and he's riding a winged creature which is making the flapping noise. Great cinematography all round.

His cloak/robe or whatever it's called looks so real. Looks like you just took a picture straight from the movie! God, i wish i could do stuff like this.

The background also makes this picture so much better.
