Description Acrylics on paper 10"X14"
Wanted to try something a bit different. I was inspired by a book which has always been in my life. It's called 'Doctor Who and the Daleks Omnibus' was published in 1976 and appears to be by Terry Nation (if anyone is the slightest bit interested)!
It's got some interesting artwork in it anyway so i thought i'd have a go using this as a reference [link]
I admit that i did start to lose the will the live while painting this...definately prefer to do faces!

That is rather awesome.

I always liked the white Imperial Daleks, I can't draw them for to save myself though.

The book originally belonged to my older brother and i was fascinated by it as a kid...so much so that i've always kept it

Ah 1980's Revelation of the Daleks design ...although oddly the source photo has the plunger from the 1988 Remembrance of the Daleks imperial design...
