Is it cheating that I have a mod that basically allows me to plant a treestump that spawns mushrooms around it instead of going for normal farms? It's just so much more compact. (Mush Garden if anyone's interested)

It is cheating, but since this game is all about sandboxing your way through, I see nothing wrong with that... also that sounds awesome.

In fairness, relying on Mush Gardens alone for crock pot veggies does lock me out of several food items that require specific crops, as well as the Fashion Melon, so I guess there's a bit of a tradeoff there.
