You know, I had to look up Schwarzwald Cake to be sure of what it was, but upon finding out I love how it all just makes perfect sense. The brown, the red, the white, it all perfectly reflects the dish...also it made me hungry, I love that kind of cake.

Schwarzwald Cake is the same as Black Forest Cake, which is dark chocolate cake and cherries, usually with some kind of vanilla icing with it :3

Yes that's right. Schwarzwald is the german word for black forest. It's also the name of a chain of hills in the south of germany. It was there where the cake was created.
