Heh. Anyway, the pic looks great. The expression is so badass and the perspective is bloody brilliant. The hair looks great and the checkered sheath is a nice touch. You really make smart choices in your drawings, imo. But ah well, that's enough gushing...

Have you ever thought about trying to do one in your spare time and getting a more traditional American comic company to publish it? Like Image or something. I'm just now doing a little research into different companies, so I'm not speaking like I know everything.
But from what I can tell Image lets you keep your copyright over your material, so it seems like a pretty sweet deal and you have a large amount of control. I don't know if Image, and other comic companies for that matter, really deal with manga-like titles that often, and I'm sure it'd be hard as hell to get on with them in any case.
I also don't know how much freedom you have to do other work with the company that you're with now. Meh, just ignore me if all of this sounds stupid and naive.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Like I said, I've just begun looking into things myself (as a writer naturally), so I only have a very general view of everything.
Anyway, here's hoping that with the popularity of Shonen titles, namely Bleach and Naruto, your publisher will start seeking that kinda work more.
Anyway, until then I'll just enjoy your actiony pics on here.

I adore the outfit, along with the checkered sheath. -drools/contemplates finding and/or designing one-

The gun was my only problem though(mainly because I hate guns, but I love this style of gun)
It looks as if it's about to fall from his hand, and the position his hand is in, looks as if the gun should be pointed left, instead of right.
That or I'm completely off, and it's just the way I see it. -_-

I think it's a sign that I know _far_ too much about Star Wars that I instantly think "Blastech DL-44!" upon seeing that gun. (Han Solo used a DL-44. It was basically the "Dirty Harry gun" of Star Wars...decently accurate, big punch.)
...yeah I'ma stop talking about Star Wars now. The pistol also resembles a Luger, after all.
Anyway, what I like most about the character is that he's an amalgamation of several different "hero" styles. He's got the samurai skirt, sword, but also some sort of leather-ish jacket and a wicked handgun. The little detailings on the belt and chain are also great touches.
