Description I know Morgan is a major Mama's boy (which is adooooorable <3) but I always thought if Gaius was the father, Morgan would inherit the man's sweet tooth, even if he can't remember anything about his father X'D (also I hope Gaius wouldn't steal all of his son's candy O.o)
So this a collab project in my group where everyone is drawing a character from the game! I chose Male Morgan first, how could I not? He's my darling little son >w< BTW, I tried really hard to get the details on him right (clothes, book, etc.) but like...every reference I looked at was different O.o I do enjoy the triforce looking symbol on the book...Hope he looks okay! He may be a bit too shiny >.>''''

this is really cute. I was torn between marrying Gaius or Ricken. I ended up choosing Ricken (who sadly has no fan art of him and MU), but if I can get the game and have a second file, i'm gonna marry Gaius. third file would be Henry. unlike a lot of people (not saying there's something wrong with those people) I never wanted to marry Chrom. he's really sweet, but the couple felt more forced than Chrom and Sumia. anyway, Morgan is ADORABLEΒ  and i'm very happy he's my little boy.

I know, me too! He is just too cute, and he's like the perfect child, he's always nice to everyone even if they're insulting him or telling him to go away and it's just too adorable I just cannot even *flails*

Haha, I didn't almost kill Gaius but he did almost die, the little idiot attacked Chrom and stahl was standing next to Chrom so Chrom hit Gaius and then Stahl hit him and then Chrom hit him again and then Gaius had like two HP left and I was so scared that I would accidentally make Chrom attack him instead of talk to him but then I made Chrom talk to him and I gave him a vulnerary and then he helped me kill Validar

I really love your colouring! If you don't mind my asking, what technique are you using to get the different colours for the 'line art' ( the normally black lines)? The softening you have here by changing the shades and colours is really phenomenal!

Helloooooo!!! Thank you very much, I'm glad you do!! X3 I doubt I'd be able to replicate it quite as well in the future, this took about 2 weeks to get right O.o (not to mention my SAI demo is expired, I need to buy it now XD) I mostly used this tutorial though [link]
I don't mind at all! I basically did all the color for the pic and shading, then I locked onto the lineart layer (opacity lock, overlay, etc.) and airbrushed over the areas I wanted with different intensities depending on the shading! Also, just some shine over all the layers adds some interesting effects :3 I hope that helps! I can't really remember if there's something like opacity lock on manga studio...I haven't used it in a while, I can't find the serial code it keeps asking me for TwT I'll have to find it soon though, I'm planning on making a manga soon, and I think I'll need it O.o Oh boy, look at that rambling I hope I helped somewhat! X'D

Brilliant! The combination of the Avatar's studiousness and Gaius's sneakiness is excellent. The triumphant look suggests he's enjoying the spoils after hatching a plot to steal the viewer's candy. And I do like the Triforce-style design on the front cover.
I can understand your attachment, I have a strong sentimental attachment to female Morgan and Noire, my unit's children.

The game has a lot of shout outs to previous entries in the series and other games, such as the Smash Brethren DLC having Owain offering to protect Mist with his new technique, Skyward Shield.
The fact that you get attached to the characters is a testament to how well the game was designed. I've never actually used male Morgan (since I'm a guy and would feel so awkward having a female avatar in the game), so I'm quite attached to female Morgan as a result. No matter who I pair up with though, Noire's always going to be seen as my little girl.
