photo reference usedcan you tell that one is black and the other is a bay without having read this?
this picture is also dedicated to Chris, who harassed me about having to draw an eating horse. So, here's an eating horse.. buy one get one free. YAAAAAAAAAH!

nice, apart from other things already mentioned, shading on bay's back looks bit flat and the black's near fore fetlock is tad too thick but it was good effort, I like it, the manes are pretty good

thats really good i especially love the shading....the only things i have to say is the horse on the right its front right hoof looks like its floating above the grass compared to the other and the horses face looks a little too small.... other than that its good

I can tell the colors when I did full view. ^^
It seems like the black one's back is kinda short...it's at a weird angle or something. It still WAY better than I can do! It looks very realistic.

lovely way of drawing horses there! The rendering is reasonably well done as well.
Unfortunately I can't tell one is black and the other is bay. Bay, or GREY? I wonder if you have a wide range of pencils from 4H to 8B. That's what I got recently. The neck of the horse on the right seem a little too thin and long if you ask me though.

bay... I worked with a very limited range of pencils, I lost most of my set but I recently got a new set so that problem should be resolved next time I draw
