FULLVIEW PLEASE~
This is a fanart of the infinitely gorgeous, yet unjustly obscure visual novel game, Animamundi: Dark Alchemist. It started as an old sketchbook drawing from early on this year when I discovered the game, but after fangirling with over it, I decided to scan it in and finish it.
The characters are Georik Zaberisk, the protagonist, in the red coat holding his sister Lillith's severed head (she's actually still alive, but, within the context of the game, this makes a little more sense) and Mephistopheles, obviously a devil, off to the right. The title was pulled from a song from the soundtrack that I'm fond of. I'd really love to do a picture with Georik, Mephisto, Mikhail, and St. Germant together at some point, if time allows. I can't recommend the game enough, so feel free to ask me questions about it if you're curious.
I wanted to try out some new digital painting techniques and apply some of the principles I recently learned from doing traditional painting. I think most of them worked relatively well, so hopefully this will mark the dawn of an era of digital paintings for me that are not hopelessly full of suck. xD

Sorry for my impudence, but I have a question. Are you planned any animamundi's art in your traditional style? ^_^ I love your Faust's and Mephisto's arts and hope see your fanart in that style.

No, not at all. Now that you mention it, I might end up doing another Animamundi fanart in black and white, like my Faust stuff. I think the art style of the game would work well in the style of an ink drawing and it would save me some time in coloring. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ooohhh, you made them all so gorgeous. As expected, your Meph and Georik look great, no surprises there. Lillith looks so nice with the color highlights on her eyes that I almost stopped disliking her for a minute there. I love the beautiful nails on Mephistopheles' hands, too. You've got the wires for the blood transfusions and everything... Great picture in general...! I can't wait to see more from you, especially your version of St. Germant you're thinking about.

Oh, yes, I bet you'd nail Mikhail, too. All those curls.. Most people would be lost in the swirls of golden locks. But I'm sure you'll tame them.

Haha, I seriously doubt anyone would accuse me of unmanning him. XD He really is a sweetheart. Every time he was onscreen I just thought "Why are you so f-ing cute?!! D:" I hope I can get a decent likeness.
And oh, Mikhail... so gay for his friend, yet so full of manly, manly denial... I looked back at the picture of him hugging the Princess and laughed because they would just make the blondest, curliest, flounciest couple of all time.

Rofl. That just couldn't be..! The amount of yellow in that picture, it'd just take it over..! Golden, golden curls everywhere..! I think Mikhail needs a little more..... black ....if you know what I mean.
