I just finished submitting a portfolio for school, which included some of my sculpture work and I thought I might share some. This is from an assignment in which we had to sculpt one of our own shoes and imbue them with a feeling or concept.

I thought the boot looked somewhat victorian, so, being a creep, I naturally went the Jack the Ripper route (and, before you ask, I did get the idea from the resemblance to the shoes of my favorite red-haired, heel-sporting shinigami XD). The table was a an absolute mess when I finished the blood splatter. That's also my bloody handprint around the heel. I was trying to illustrate the underlying gore and depravity of the Victorian Era that is often covered over by its romanticism.
