Okay, here's another schoolwork I just finished. The conventions for this one were a reclining nude in 2-point perspective.I decided to make him my Renaissance Era Italian OC, Dante, first seen being poisoned by his buddy in this ugly sketch storyboard I did for figure drawing last year: [link] XD
I really had to force myself to make the proportions naturalistic. I had to scale down his legs at least three times and thicken up his waist so he wouldn't look super lanky (okay, I lengthened them back out a little for this version; shaddup, I like the way it looks.
) I have no clue what he's supposed to be sitting on, but apparently it's very uneven...This would probably make for some decent coloring practice, so maybe I'll fill it in later. My poor professor is probably so fed up with all my queer-bag long-haired girly men, God bless him... Oh, on a side note; I put a mature content warning on this one for the slight hint of PINGAS, but does anyone know what the requirements are for a mature content WARNING filter vs. a STRICT mature content filter? Both options have the same five categories (nudity, sexual themes, violence, etc.), so I don't really know where the distinction between them lies. Just curious if anyone has any input on the matter because I read through the Mature Content ToS and FAQ and found no mention of differing standards for the two levels.

He's absolutely stunning! The reclining position is amazing and you've got the proportions perfect! The details of the muscle structures have been indicated beautifully too, especially on the legs and abs. I've got to say, his hair is so gorgeous as well, and I love the fingers just showing over/on his leg. Such a wonderful piece~ You have a lot of skill in drawing men!

Well, I've heard some people say that a good rule of thumb is: "do you feel this is appropriate to show to.. no warning is anyone under 16, basic warning is what you'd think 16 and up should see, while strict is 18 and up." Or was it 13 rather than 16.....? Hmm. It really could be 13, that sounds right also...

Oh, is that how it goes? That makes sense... I just found it odd that they didn't write up any standards for it since they bothered to create two levels. 
This is a tangent, but I heard someone complain once that she was reported and told by an administrator that she had to put a mature content filter on an image of two men just kissing, fully clothed. I would flat-out refuse to do that on principle, because I can guarantee they wouldn't require it for one with a hetero couple. This is bullshit, man! Fight the power!

As for the Mature content topics, maybe it has to do with the degree of gore/nudity/whatever, like, a nude being on warning and a somewhat sexual being on strict. I don't know ._.;

Yeah, I was thinking that maybe erotic nudes might need the strict filter whereas artistic nudes might only need the warning, but they have nudity and sexual themes listed as separate categories under both, so IDFK.
