Simply a reel girl with guitar arms, chrome fingers... made in the style of Xeophane, but NOT her. Listened to a lot of Lacuna Coil, Metallica, Guano Apes and, of course, Merch Table Delight while making this creature. Music makes it all possible!Did I mention this will be on an album cover?
Not the finished version. I'm still going to somehow incorporate a giant reel of film in the background. I just like the image for what it is without a background. I am a backgroundless kinda girl.
PS, the image in the film is Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth.

I love the broken strings of the farther arm, and the limpness of the hand. Its all really beautiful, but I thin kthe hair is my favourite part.
oh, and the foreshortening is really well done aswell.
What sort of album cover is this going to be on?
